Premier Martial Arts Marietta and the Academy of Qigong & Internal Studies opened its doors in August of 1993. It is located in Marietta on the corner of Canton Rd & New Chastain Rd in the New Chastain Corners Kroger Shopping Center (about 2.5 miles from Town Center Mall).

Martial Arts Marietta is owned and operated by its founder, 7th Degree Senior Master, Michael Reid. The Center features two training areas that are equipped with top of the line training mats for safety and
training comforts. Our training atmosphere reflects the students of the Center: friendly and energetic, yet serious about martial arts growth and development.

Martial Arts Marietta and the Academy of Qigong & Internal Studies work daily to provide a positive atmosphere in the Center's distinguished youth, adult Krav Maga, Kung Fu and Tai Chi programs.
PMA-Marietta
Sensei John Fitzpatrick is the schools Chief Instructor for all PMA Marietta Programs and ranking Krav Maga practitioner. Coach David Blake is the schools Program Director and he is responsible for sales, marketing and customer service. Mr. Tim Naylor is the lead teacher for our 3-4 year old program and the youth program teaching assistant.
Our Youth "Tiny Champs" ages 3-4, "Little Champs" ages 5-7 and "Kidz” ages 8-12 programs encourage students to look inside of themselves and find new levels of achievement. We offer differing training experiences "Basic", 'Black Belt", "Premier", "Demo Team", "Leadership" and "CIT" Certified Instructor Training to accommodate the varying levels interest, mental and physical challenges of our youth, teen and adult students.
AQIS Academy
AQIS Academy offers one of the nations most comprehensive training curriculums. Our senior teaching staff is comprised of 7th Degree Senior Master Michael Reid, 5th Degree Associate Master Diana Rixom, 4th Degree Sifu Laurence Stacey, 3rd Degree Sifu Kireeti Sangadala, 2nd Degree Black Sash Instructor Melissa Dietz and 2nd Degree Black Sash Instructor Nancy Fritsch. There thousands of hours of personal training and teaching experience ensure an exceptional learning experience for all of our students.
The school also serves the community by giving martial demonstrations, free seminars, and contributing
to charities. Master Reid personally gives Tai Chi and Kung Fu workshops in many locations throughout Cobb and surrounding counties, and he speaks to both adult and youth organizations.
